Hijikata Yoran Strawberry Garden

ひじかた洋蘭いちご園

Fresh strawberries and unique shaved ice treats
Hijikata Yoran is a well-established orchid plantation that doubles as a strawberry farm during the winter months and into the spring. Visitors can come pick their fill of their deliciously sweet strawberries without having to bend down even once, as the fruits are grown in gutters off the ground.

The garden houses a popular outdoor café known for its seasonal fruit parfaits and generous shaved ice desserts, made by shaving whole frozen strawberries (one entire pack), peaches (one and a half) and persimmons.
